Winter Holidays Empty Winter Holidays

In this chapter, it is implied that everyone who remained at Hogwarts for the winter holiday celebrated Christmas together. J.K. Rowling has told us via twitter that there was at least one Jewish student at Hogwarts during Harry’s time there.
  • What does it say about the series that the only winter holiday officially celebrated is the Christian holiday of Christmas?
  • Are Hanukkah or any other religious festivals celebrated?
  • How is this problematic for readers and inclusivity?
  • How is their celebration similar to that of the English community at large?
