The Cloak of Invisibility
In this chapter, Dumbledore returns James Potter’s Invisibility Cloak to Harry. We know now that Dumbledore had it because he was examining it due to his (correct) suspicion that it was one of the Deathly Hallows.
- Do you think Dumbledore feels guilty for having the Invisibility Cloak when James and Lily could have potentially used it to save their lives?
- Do you think having the Invisibility Cloak would have made a difference for James and Lily?
- Can Voldemort see through the one true Invisibility Cloak?
- Did James include it in his will? If so, why didn’t the Ministry get involved?
- Is the concept of the Invisibility Cloak (hiding from death) counter-intuitive to the etymology of Gryffindor?
