Bully in the Classroom
Snape openly bullies students, including Harry but particularly Neville.
- Should one of the other professors do something about it?
- What is Dumbledore’s responsibility as the Headmaster of Hogwarts?
- While some of Snape’s students test well, he is not fostering their emotional and mental well-being in the classroom. What is his responsibility to his students in this regard?
- How does Snape remain a teacher and not get in trouble for bullying his students? Does this happen in the real world?
- Do you think that Snape’s treatment of Neville impacts how the students view/treat him? (i.e. Snape bullies Neville and Malfoy wants to impress Snape)
